David Copeland joins Shen Milsom & Wilke as New Business Development Associate
David Copeland is a new associate at Shen Milsom & Wilke and is based in the company’s Chicago office.
Mr. Copeland has been in the acoustics and AV industry for over 10 years as a project manager and designer. As a lead and principal acoustical consultant, his primary responsibilities have included room acoustics, sound isolation, speech privacy, vibration, and HVAC duct-run analyses. In addition, he has created and taught an AIA-CES approved acoustics presentation for architects.
Mr. Copeland has worked on over 200 projects in Corporate, Education, Government, Healthcare, Hospitality, Performing Arts, and Religious market sectors. His project experience includes the Office Depot Corporate Headquarters, World of Coca Cola, Emory University Goizueta Business School, Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Buildings 21 and 24, Duke University Medicine Pavilion, InterContinental Buckhead Atlanta, Omni CNN Hotel Expansion, Lodge at Woodloch, Oviedo First Baptist Church, DeKalb Performing Arts Center, and Dallas Theater (GA).
Mr. Copeland is a Certified Technology Specialist and a LEED accredited professional. He has a BA in Physics from Binghamton University in New York and a MS in Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, GA.
