The new National Environmental Satellite, Data, and Information Service (NESDIS) Operations Facility includes the technology intensive Launch Control Room and Satellite Operations Control Center. Shen Milsom & Wilke’s multimedia design services include large-screen displays and arrays of large video- and computer-generated images or live data. Acoustic work includes noise control for all building mechanical systems, speech privacy isolation treatments for offices, and special acoustical isolation and treatments for the many special function and secured spaces.
