Standing 603 feet tall, Denver’s 40-story office building at 1144 15th Street will includes 657,400 square feet of office space and 5,500 square feet of retail space. The U.S. Green Building Council has pre-certified the project with a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Gold designation.
Shen Milsom & Wilke acoustical consultants made recommendations for the fitness center, specifying athletic flooring that will minimize the impact noise from footfall and dropped weights. We discovered noise leakage through the floor slab and curtain wall intersection, and we made recommendations to fortify the area. Our recommendations for absorptive ceiling treatments in the fitness center, and lease space will create a comfortable acoustic environment for all occupants.
