Mildred Ramos is a recognized leader in Human Resources with over two decades of corporate management and HR experience. She is a driven, passionate, and ethical professional who delivers effective strategies across various business functions impacting an international business model.
Joining Shen Milsom & Wilke in 1995 as an Accounting Manager, she quickly advanced to Director of Finance responsible for, Finance, Mergers & Acquisitions, Legal Initiatives and Administrative Operations.
Having extensive experience in providing tactical and strategic solutions in support of business initiatives, Mildred is a pivotal member of SM&W. In her Human Resources role and as an acting member of the firm’s Executive Committee, she is directly responsible for human resources management and is a champion for employee relations, human capital management, and employment laws. As an executive at the firm, Mildred provides senior-level operating guidance in a fast-paced, dynamic, and highly demanding environment.
Mildred’s passion for learning, diversity, and professional growth extends far beyond SM&W. She advocates and promotes cultural diversity and inclusiveness in the workplace, both inside and outside of SM&W. She is an active member of the Society of Human Resource Management and the National Association of Female Executives. In addition, she serves on the Board of Directors for Committee for Hispanic Children & Families (CHCF), and the Spanish-Speaking Elderly Council. In 2012, Mildred was awarded the NAPW Professional Woman of the Year – Leadership & Human Capital Management.
