The boutique hotel chain Dram Hotels renovated their Dream Downtown hotel with a modern marine approach—a tribute to the National Maritime Union, which used to occupy the building. Located in the stylish Meatpacking District, the hotel now includes 316 guestrooms, two restaurants, a rooftop lounge, a VIP lounge, a swimming pool, a beach, a fitness center, meeting and event rooms and retail space.
Shen Milsom & Wilke’s technology team provided an IP-based video system that blended into the aesthetic design, ensuring the technology infrastructure didn’t stand out in contrast to the hotel décor. Our security consultants designed a centralized alarm management system with video surveillance.
