Mr. Stewart is a dual-disciplined design consultant who is proficient in low voltage power systems, LAN/WAN/WiFi architecture development, security system design, access control systems, wireless/radio/cellular infrastructure design, DAS, and electrical systems.
Mr. Stewart rejoined SM&W in 2020 with over 20 years of IT engineering and design experience. Previously, Mr. Stewart served as a Senior Communications Engineer for the Washington Metro Area Transit Authority (WMATA) where he was responsible for designing communications, network security and low voltage power systems throughout the Metro area. His seasoned engineering experience has allowed him to sharpen his skills in not only telecommunications, electrical and security systems design, but also as a frontward-facing project manager for large projects that require working closely with project stakeholders and design teams.
