Robert is a visionary leader bringing over 25 years of construction, design and technical consulting experience to SM&W. He has a diversified background in consulting and engineering management, development and a proven track record as a leader in the AEC industry.
Robert has been the lead acoustician on many high-profile facilities including: residential, healthcare, mixed-use developments, corporate offices, government buildings, museums and performing arts.
He specializes in architectural acoustics, ventilation system noise and vibration control, and has extensive experience consulting on the process of entitlements, environmental acoustics, peer reviews, feasibility studies, public testimony and creating project specific noise and vibration standards.
Robert is also highly skilled in the field of Commercial and Residential Land Development. Specializing in the areas of Land Acquisition, Negotiation, Valuation, Entitlements, Permitting, Design, Community and Government Engagement, Sales and Commercial Leasing.
Robert graduated with honors from University of California, Berkeley – College of Environmental Design with a BA in Architecture. He has been a Guest Lecturer at both Stanford University, University of Oregon, California College of the Arts, AIA Continuing Education and UC Berkeley in the areas of Design, Acoustics, Interdisciplinary Studies and Engineering since 1997.
