Comcast’s 58-story tower sits in Center City, Philadelphia’s central business district, and is the tallest building in Philadelphia. Robert A.M. Stern Architects designed the 974-foot skyscraper, and Gensler designed the interiors of the building, which has been LEED certified by the U.S. Green Building Council. Shen Milsom & Wilke coordinated with Gensler to design Comcast University, the executive floors, a two-story café, conference rooms, product testing laboratories, a television studio and a fitness center.
Our technology team referred the video wall designer and content producer for the art installation lobby display: a video wall that stands 25 feet high and stretches 84 feet wide. When the wall was completed, Comcast boasted the highest quality indoor display, with 10 million 4mm-pitch pixels. Comcast and Liberty Property Trust, the building owner, presented the wall—now named the Comcast Experience—as a gift to the City of Philadelphia.
