Shen Milsom & Wilke (SM&W) provided audiovisual, information technology, and security consulting services for three relocations and/or renovations in major cities for O’Melveny & Myers LLP (OMM).
SM&W worked closely with the client to create standards for their offices audiovisual systems, information technology, and security systems to ensure cohesive methods spanned across their offices in New York, Los Angeles, and Dallas. OMM New York relocated to a new space that spanned 5 floors and totaled approximately 160,000 SF of space. OMM Los Angeles demolished their previous location, renovating 3 new floors which totaled approximately 111,000 SF. OMM Dallas took occupancy on 3 additional floors in their existing space which totaled approximately 70,000 SF.
Information Technology scope focused on the room layout and coordination, pathways connecting to information technology spaces, Wi-Fi layout and supporting infrastructure, and data outlet coordination as well as specification of a structured cabling plant.
Physical security focused on creating a singular integrated security management system platform for access control, video surveillance, and intrusion detection, to allow seamless global cardholder management between all offices, create efficiencies in overall global security management, and provide a robust new security standard for all O’Melveny and Myers locations moving forward.
